Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and uplift Black women by fostering self-love through the embrace of their natural hair.
We are a movement dedicated to celebrating the beauty of authenticity, promoting entrepreneurship, and fostering community empowerment.
We are cultivating a community where Black women feel confident and proud in her natural hair, embracing her unique beauty without reservation.
Through events, workshops, and resources, we strive to create a safe and supportive space where Black women can be celebrated for their natural beauty and tenacity.
Support.
We come together to be in a supportive environment and uplift one another. Having natural hair shouldn’t be a point of contention, the reality is it can feel isolating just being who you are in society. NOPC strives to eliminate that isolation through our events.
Swap.
At each NOPC event we have a hair swap, bring a product (like new or gently used) that you can swap for another that someone else may have brought. We also SWAP knowledge and life experiences. We can always learn from one another.
Shop.
At each NOPC event we have a vendor marketplace where artisans are able to showcase their goods and services.
